Swim Day

Happy Sunday!  How are you, my friends?  I forgot this special picture on my last blog.  To finish our special camping night we made s'mores!  What a treat!

I am so happy that spring has finally sprung.  That mean: sunglasses, sun lotion, and hats.  I already got my first sun burn!

Time for a swim!  My sweet girls enjoyed dumping water out of the pool more than they enjoyed swimming in the pool! 

Matt has traveled to Denver area to visit some friends; his Grandma keeps making improvements!  Thank goodness!

We are off to start our Sunday morning right with pancakes!

We're going on a bear hunt!

 Hey Friends!  We are having so much fun on this Staycation.  The other day, we made binoculars to hunt for bears!  We took Dusty dog on a walk through the neighborhood and we were on a BEAR hunt!  All we found were kangaroos though :)

 It was "camping" day at our house.  The girls enjoyed felt board stories around the camp fire.

 They tried sleeping in the tent, but didn't last long.  Their beds are much more comfortable.

 We even enjoyed our dinner, picnic style!  What a fun day!

Spring has sprung and our yard is filled with beautiful colors again!

Smiles All Around

Oh, Thank goodness!  It's finally Friday!  Day six of daddy being gone.  We are surviving!  The other day we took some special pictures to send to Matt's Grandma.  The kids were so smiley for the photo shoot.  I just love that Ollie smiles and giggles now.  They are the most precious sounds.

Matt's Grandma keeps improving, which is great!  It's also Matt's Grandpa's birthday today!  We wish him a very special day.  Wish we were there to help blow out the candles and sing happy birthday to him!

Mommy Salon

Good morning, from sideways Ollie!  I love that the blog decides to post pictures side ways/upside down and the like!  I'm not a super genius editor, so I just leave them the way they are!  Not to mention I have better things to do with my time; like 3 small children to look after.  If you turn your head, it will be the correct way. :)

Pure Princesses

Hey Friends!  Happy Wednesday!  The days are some how flying by with Matt being gone.  I thought they would be LOOOONG, but we have had a blast!  Addi decided to dress up for Destiny's dance class last week!  Everyone thought her "costume" was extra fancy!

The girls got some special dress jammies in the mail from Grandma Sue!  Lucky ducks!

They love the jammies and they love each other {sometimes!}. 

The sun is shining so I have set up our little pool and the girls are anxiously awaiting the a-okay to swim.  Currently, they are jumping like kangaroos on the trampoline!  It's gonna be a good day!

Hey Friends!  After a bit of begging, I got Matt to join in the frolicking in the tulips!  We had a lovely picnic lunch there.

Destiny's class painted a garden gnome that was on display at the festival. 

Destiny was even able to pick out which one see painted and said that she painted it's "belt".

It's such a lovely festival.  It's sad to think this may be our last year attending it. 

Matt is still enjoying his time in Wyoming.  He has gotten to see much of his family and his Grandma's health is improving a bit today.  Continued prayers would be appreciated.  Here, the kids and I are still on our Staycation. We have enjoyed some BEAUTIFUL weather and can't wait to get out in it again today!

Frolicking in the Flowers

Hey Friends!  How is everything going for you?  An update over here:  Matt is in Denver rushing to Wyoming to see his Grandma.  She wants pics of the family so I have sent some pictures through email.  The kids and I are very sad that we can't be there, but we are making the best of things here.  Please continue to pray for Matt's Grandmother and for safe travel for Matt and his sister.  This morning I awoke to a nice surprise at 3 A.M. Our furnace shut off.  I found myself crawling in the attic to turn it back on.  Something always goes wrong with the husband leaves town...hopefully that's the only thing that goes wrong.  {crossing fingers} 

This time of year in Canberra there is a huge spring flower festival.  So far I have visited it twice this year and it has been fantastic!  Addi had a teddy bear picnic with some of her friends. 

The whole time, she begged and begged to go on rides. haha!  She enjoyed the flowers too.

Isn't it just beautiful!  Tulips are one of my favorites and I also love poppies so this festival is a win - win for me.

Destiny got a GOLD medal for reading in the school the other day.  She completed her reading challenge!  What an awesome reward!
