So much to do!

Hey Friends!  We have been having so much fun with mom here.  Here are some more of our adventures.  We spent a morning at the National Botanic Gardens here in Canberra.  First thing we saw: a roo munching on some plants.

Later that evening we saw a movie as a family!  The girls loved snacking on popcorn and soda! 

We stopped by the U.S. Embassy so mom could see where we spend some of our time.  Here she is near the Ambassador's Residence.

You would think with how busy we have been that baby would like to join us and see the sights, but he is still hanging inside my belly!  Hopefully soon he'll be here to join in the fun!

Here Birdy, Birdy!

 Hey Friends!  How's your day going?  Over here, we are doing fantastic!  Love having mom here to go on adventures with!  One day last week we headed over to Gold Creek and found ourselves at the Aviary.  We were the first ones there and we came with worms and apples.  The birds liked us!

 Destiny's favorite thing to do was bob her head up and down like the birds do!

 Addi is not pictured because she spent most of her time tucked between me and Grandma!  She was a bit intimidated by the birds' friendliness!

After the aviary, we took a walk through the village and the girls loved trying on hats at a nearby hat shop! 

What a fun day!  What are you up to today?  Whatever it is, I hope it's fantastic!

Fun Momma Moments

Hey Friends!  39 weeks!  aaahhh!  I'm so ready to have this little man!  I still feel great and baby has dropped, I think he's a bit hesitant to come out because of the cold Canberra winter.  I'm tempted to wrap my belly in the warm knitted blanket that my mom made for him so he knows that we have cute clothes and blankets to keep him warm!

The girls with their Grandma!  We loved the museum so much.  Although we were only able to see a bit of it, we had a blast showing mom some of Australia's history!

Matt took a picture of the special dinner we made.  Homemade pasta (rolled by momma) and homemade alfredo sauce!  It was SO delicious!  After eating, we all promptly fell asleep on the couch! ha!

Joining the Circus

Hey Friends!  The big top arrived in town a couple weeks ago and it has been so fun watching it rise to it's glory!  Each day, with anticipation, the girls would BEG to go to the circus!  Destiny has been to the circus in North Dakota with my mom once before so I thought it was appropriate to wait for mom's arrival and then attend the big event!

Weber's Circus!  It's a great little circus, which seems to be family run.  The same people that we bought our popcorn from and that gave us a ride on the amusement rides were actually performers in the show!

We started out with a ride on the tea cups.

This was not only Addi's first circus, but Matt's first circus too! 

The girls also played a carnival game and ate TONS of popcorn and drank WAY TOO MUCH soda!  Now, that's what I call a good circus ;)

I know I keep saying this, but we are having so much fun with Grandma here!  We are so blessed, lucky, fortunate that she is here!

Ducks in a Row

Hey Friends!  This is my momma trying her first lamington!  She enjoyed it so much!  Thank goodness for yummy Aussie treats!

We had tons of left over bread crusts from the girls' birthday party so we headed out to our local pond and fed the swans and ducks.

We are enjoying every minute of mom being here!  Now we just need baby brother to come out so we all can meet him!

Party Party Party!

Hey Friends!  One week after the girls' party; we were fortunate to attend a special birthday party for a super special brother and sister!  The girls loved bringing gifts!

They had a blast playing with bubbles.

This is Addi's favorite game "Doggy, doggy wears your bone." My sister has sang Addi a special "Addi, Addi where's your bone" song for a few years now and Addi called it "her game"!

Other fun updates:  We are still having a blasty with mom here!  We have done and seen so much of Canberra this time around; last time she was here she got really acquainted with my house helping me set it up!  I think she is enjoying her time here!  Baby is still hanging out inside my warm belly; I think he's not quite ready for the cold Canberra winter!

She's HEEEEERRRREEEE!

Hi Friends!  I have a couple of special pictures!  The girls received "edible arrangements" from my sister from the U.S.  It was so much fun for them to open them while we skyped with her.  Destiny loved her "cookie flower".  You can see Auntie Bekki in the background on the computer screen. :)

Addi thought her monkey and chocolates were pretty special too!  The girls thought it would be the coolest thing to hide chocolates under the pillow in the guest bedroom to surprise their grandma for her arrival!

Speaking of her arrival, her plane was late...SO...we ended up stopping off at the shops to play in the kid's area.  The girls love the BIG slide.
