Hello Friends! 'Tis the month of LOVE! Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we received a very special Valentine's package in the mail from my sweet Grandma who lives in North Dakota. She sent hearts filled with chocolates!
and gifts to unwrap, along with valentine's to hand out to friends. That is extra special because it is nearly impossible to find anything related to Valentine's day here in Canberra. They just don't really celebrate it here.
Destiny found a white teddy bear in the package for her.
And Miss Addi found a pink one. They both love them so much that they have been sleeping with them at night!
Lately I have had some fun with food. A caprese salad made with the variety of tomatoes from my garden. It was so yummy!
Watermelon carving that was very fun! We are hoping to spend pretty low key day at home. It has been a lot of changes for us as the school year has begun. New teachers at school and swimming lessons. Destiny starts dance today as well. This time it's in the afternoon so we shall see how it goes for her. It's right during our typical "quiet time".
We are off to have some breakkie!
