Hey Friends! How was your weekend? Ours was fantastic; the perfect balance of laziness and hard work. It was just how a weekend should be! We spent a bit of today working on Destiny's homework that is due tomorrow. Her homework is optional but VERY fun! This time around, she was supposed to teach her family something that she learned at school. She told us that she learned a cool hula hoop trick from one of her friends on the play ground. We ran with the idea! It was fun. We made up silly hula hoop games. We all tried to hula hoop (even baby join in! ha!).
The girls had hula hoop races and worked on hula hooping around their waists, arms, and feet!
Even daddy joined in the fun! Doesn't he look thrilled!?!
Speaking of lessons learned: here is Destiny at dance class! She is nearly ready for her big dance concert (recital). It's in about 2 weeks time! We bought our tickets and should be up close for some good pictures!
Here is Addi with her lollipop. She prefers to sit by mommy and eat snacks as Destiny dances! ha!
Guess what I'm up to today. I bet ya can't guess! I'm busy shopping for and cooking a bunch of meals to have in on hand in the freezer for when baby arrives! I can't believe that the time has come to make ahead some meals. I have about 10 or so meals in the works! It shall be a busy, busy night! I also am trying my hand at homemade chocolate truffles for the first time. They were so easy (this could be dangerous!). We are off and running!
