A Towel in the Boot

Hey friends!  Isn't that just the cutest baby wombat?  I got to cuddle him a bit at the Canadian High Commission here in Canberra.  The girls and I attended an informational speech on caring for/rescuing animals that are injured.  They say, one of the best things to do is keep a towel in the boot (trunk) of your car.  You can use a towel to do so many things like move road kill out  of the road, pick up lizards or other small animals, or comfort animals that are used to being in a pouch.  It was a very educational speech!
The girls enjoyed the donuts and juice!
We saw a baby joey, baby possum, 2 tree frogs, and the baby wombat.  It was such a fun day.  We just love the Aussie animals that we have gotten to meet. :)

Enjoy today!
