Egg-citement!

Hola! How's your day going? Mine started with a chilly bike ride in the neighborhood. *Note to self...air up bike tires. Yikes! It was a rough ride! Up hill both ways, 30 mile an hour winds, etc. etc. you know how the story goes! The other day, we had an opportunity to attend an egg hunt at the U.S. Embassy! Here are the pictures: We started off with egg painting. Addi painted a lovely little egg (that we lost)
Destiny painted beautifully too; and someone else took her egg home with them. Oh well!
Destiny in her Easter hat from Auntie Bekki and Grandma Sue. It was windy, so the hats didn't stay on long.
Addi was obsessed with the bunny. She followed him around and just looked at him. She didn't want him to touch her though!
Addi's reaction to seeing the bunny..all smiles!
The girls with the bunny
The American Flag! A sight I don't see all that often here!
Addi and Daddy
The girls got to hunt in the same area because they are so close in age. They had eggs hidden around kangaroos :)

Showing off their loot. (we have candy for a year now...American candy!!! Reeses, Crunch, Cookies n' cream...so good!)
Addi with her face painted. A green balloon. Addi's favorite color (the only color she knows) is green!
This is the ambassador's house on the Embassy grounds. It is a lovely home. The Embassy grounds here really are beautiful.

Well, folks, I'm off for the day. But first, a little trivia for you:

How do Australian's spell tire? (as in tires for cars) If you know the answer, leave it as a comment :) The first one with the correct answer will win a little prize!

Enjoy today!
